The 39th Annual Rideau Lakes Cycling Tour (RLCT) took place on June 5th and 6th, 2010. Organized by the Ottawa Bicycle Club, approximately 3000 riders started on Saturday to bike the 177kms from Ottawa to Kingston. They were supposed to return on Sunday — more about that later. Too bad I can’t say from Sprint to Ironman but Coach had other ideas, namely a couple of warm up Olympics prior to The Big Event. It was a long, tiring, tri’ing weekend. A drive to Moncton on Saturday – after the start of the Tour of course [...] Great results across the board from our athletes. On Saturday Cliff and Amanda both took age group honours (and 5th/7th overall in their respected genders) in the Meech Lake Triathlon. Sunday a cluster f$%k of awards were given out to our athletes.
