“THE” Christmas wish list

Being a gear guy, you may have assumed my wish list would be nothing but bike gear. Alas, it won’t be. There will be some gear, but not “a lot.”

260$ CDN: Stylish euro eye wear. Perhaps the biggest investment, and therefore most important Christmas gift is a good pair of specks. I highly recommend Oakley’s [...]

2009 Ain’t Over Yet…

If you follow this site, you’d think that New Years was in August! everyone is talking about the end, or being finished or I’m glad that’s over! Yes it was quite the month with Mom, TJ and Amanda finishing off their training years with their “A” races.

I was lucky enough to [...]

Duncan Hadley Race Report

And coincidentally my first Olympic distance. Too bad I can’t say from Sprint to Ironman but Coach had other ideas, namely a couple of warm up Olympics prior to The Big Event.

It was a long, tiring, tri’ing weekend. A drive to Moncton on Saturday – after the start of the Tour of course – stayed [...]

LMS Puts In A Solid Weekend!

Great results across the board from our athletes.

On Saturday Cliff and Amanda both took age group honours (and 5th/7th overall in their respected genders) in the Meech Lake Triathlon.

Sunday a cluster f$%k of awards were given out to our athletes.  Almost all were competing in the Duncan Hadley Triathlon in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Evan Pemberton finishing [...]

Race Report – the dog loop Freddy beach.

so. bike racing. kind of the antithesis of a triathlete. however i grew up as a bike racer. running and swimming, not really my thang. but in fact, i started triathlon as 1) a way to cross train, biking was just too much 2) the tri group is much less anal retentive. but having not [...]

Donations Wanted!

May 2-4 weekend, myself (Cliff Worden-Rogers) and my blood brother (TJ Worden-Rogers) are going to be riding/running to help end hunger in Ottawa.  We will be competing on a team called “Bytown 171″.  This team will be riding 100K then running in the 10K on Saturday, then waking up and doing another 40K ride following [...]

LiveMultisport represent… in the living room

ice ice baby

so. i had a shit my pants moment today. let me explain. my “profession,” besides an elite beginner ironman, is a pilot. And unfortunately it’s nothing cool like going to hawaii, and then hangin’ with the flight attendants on the beach drinkin’ mai-tais. not that i’m into that. rather, i take young, impressionable wannabes and turn [...]

the new years redux

2008 is all but history. were already a full week into 2009 and im tired. i finished up my first “big” block yesterday as part of ‘the plan.’ brick workouts including hill repeats, and tempo trainer rides, mixed in with some yoga to settle the mind. ive done bricks before, and i was tired then to, [...]
