This weekend I’m going to attempt something that usually opnly happens in bike racing (or running relays). On Saturday Amanda and I will join the swarms of people in the Meech Lake Triathlon. Sunday, I get to go it alone in an Olympic distance tri just outside of Kingston.

Today Amanda and I traveled to Barry’s Bay for our second triathlon of the season. This race was a 750 swim, 33K bike and a 8K run.

What was described as one of the toughest races ever by both Amanda Lohnes and Cliff Worden-Rogers, it was all they could do to finish the tough 5peaks race at Tremblant on Saturday. Both athletes put in a great effort, Amanda finishing 2nd (woman) and Cliff finishing 3rd (overall).
