Here is a snap shot of my past week. Friday – Get to work for 7am to start the day early. Boss doesn’t realize it. Leave at 11am for the drive to Moncton. Get stuck in traffic in Montreal, lose 40mins. Drop Figs off with Amanda’s mom in Fredericton. Get into TJ’s place at [...] And coincidentally my first Olympic distance. Too bad I can’t say from Sprint to Ironman but Coach had other ideas, namely a couple of warm up Olympics prior to The Big Event. It was a long, tiring, tri’ing weekend. A drive to Moncton on Saturday – after the start of the Tour of course [...] so. bike racing. kind of the antithesis of a triathlete. however i grew up as a bike racer. running and swimming, not really my thang. but in fact, i started triathlon as 1) a way to cross train, biking was just too much 2) the tri group is much less anal retentive. but having [...] Three athletes, three different locations all out playing on the weekend! TJ Worden-Rogers was competeing in a bicycle stage race in Fredericton, NB. In a telephone conversation after the race, he said his day went well; besides flatting in the road race. Lots of good solid tempo riding which will help him out [...] Shawn asked me to post this, so all you Frederictonians check it out!
