Santa, are you listening ???

Santa exits T1 with TDs closing watching his moves

Remember as a kid when *anything* was possible at Christmas?  Like that amazingly cool race car set that had tunnels and flips … and a million feet of track!  I hope you enjoy the following as much as I enjoyed finding them.  Maybe your Santa will be listening …

a

First up … your race calendar for 2010.  How about a five pack from Southern California? including:

And to prepare for your 5 race adventure …

7

Yes I know you can do it yourself and I’ve seen all the books on your shelf.  But you need a coach … really.  And if you’re going to do it right, go with the best.  Joe Friel has been doing it longer than anyone, and if you (or your Santa) ask nicely, he may take you into his small clutch of athletes.

8

High altitude training is going to get your body ready to do some serious training.  We could go to Colorado, (hey, this is a dreamlist), but Kenya sounds like much more of an adventure so we’ll spend a month (or two) this winter at the High Altitude Training Centre in Iten Kenya.

9

You need to swim … everyday (twice on Sundays).  And as we live in the frozen north, it can be a challenge even to get to a pool.  And then, you might have to share a lane. (can you imagine … don’t they know you’re training for 5 triathlons?!?)  An Endless pool would make things so much easier.  You and Joe can work out your swim program

10

Running in Kenya, swimming in your new pool … gotta have a bike trainer.  The Velodyne Sports Classic from Velodyne should fit the bill.

11

But you’re not quite there on your bike … so a day (what the heck, make it a week) at the Wind Tunnel with test engineers pouring over the data should tweak your performance.

12

Good coach, good gear … dang, but sometimes things go wrong and you can’t train.  Unless you have an AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill M310.

14

There you have it … 2010 is looking pretty fine.  And while the focus has been on you, you, you … don’t forget to thank those that support you with your play time.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
