Congratulations to everyone! We followed Jen and T.J. on ironmanlive throughout yesterday and were awed by your progress. Did you meet John Worden from NC?
We’re off to NYC with Tashi tommorrow. Look forward to hearing of your trials, tribulations and triumphs sometime next month.
3 IV bags??? Best to all….Cate and Peter
Well done, everyone! Sounds like a full day for the entire family. Looking forward to hearing all about it.
On behalf of the Winnipeg Wordens, a hearty CONGRATULATIONS to the Maritime Wordens, especially the two crazy ones that decided a day of fun was 13 to 15 hours of bodily torture! It took me back to my one day of exertion in September of 1977 when I ran (walked) the first Marathon de Montréal in something over 5 hours (with Pat O’Connor finishing in about 3:10). Nothing like what my sister did last Sunday. Tripling that extent of exercise and at a few years older than when I did it – nothing short of remarkable. I envy and respect Jen for what she did. And TJ also – he just scoffed it off in 13 hours. eeEEEEKK! Amazing.
