Each day at lunch I do situps and pushups. On my rest weeks I try to do max repeitions. Today I got 63 straight pushups which right now, is my record. Wanna know what the world record is? I had to look; 10, 507. So I’m a little behind.
Writing down PBs should become a standard when you train. For example in swimming I know my 100, 500, 1500 and 1.9K personal best times. I have similar things for running and cycling.
It’s always great to keep beating your times but realistically that WILL end. Then it comes down to training/desire to get over the hump.
By breaking your own records, it can help break monotony of training. It also gives you a big boost, letting you know that your training is working.
My next goal is to get to the 75 barrier than 100. 10,000 by the end of the month
Happy Trainin!
