Nothing starts your day like breakfast.
I always consider the first meal of the day to be breakfast, whether it’s at 6:30 am or 1:15 in the afternoon (students require lots of sleep). On a day by day basis I usually eat cereal with a banana cut up on top of it, and a glass of juice. But if I am fortunate enough to find leftovers in the fridge…then I’ll eat that. Throughout the years I have developed this skill into an extraordinary ability where I can eat foods considered outside the realm of “breakfast friendly” as soon as I wake up, i.e., if I make a large pot of chili for supper, that means I have already prepared breakfast. Tacos, pizza, curry…all delicious first thing in the morning—and because you have it in your stomach at the start of the day, that means you have all day to work it off!
But my all time favourite breakfast is warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream, as a pleasant side effect I find the alternating hot/cold on my teeth really wakes me up. Give leftovers a try, and find a new favourite breakfast food.

You had me up until the pancake/sausage-on-a-stick photo came up. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! That is SO wrong. In SO many ways!
