The white stuff you see in those bags of baby carrots that don't get used up right away is bleach residue so I have my concerns about bleach. Your solution is a very small ratio, though... I've just purchased from the health food store an All Natural Fruit and Veggie Wash concentrate made by Nature Clean, www.franktross.com. Haven't even tried it yet; was recommended to me. Not as cost effective, of course - the price tag came off but I think it was about $5.95 for 700 ml/24 fl. oz, with a 30 ml/1 oz to 1 gallon (4.5 L) ratio.

I've found in the podcasts I've listened to that feature nutrition Ben will provide a natural alternative as well as a supplement option. Though if you look at his website you wouldn't know it.

Let us know what you think of the Clorox bath!

Overall I thought it was cool you made the site!

He seems to put a lot of emphasis on supplements; pills or powders. I'm on the fence whether I agree with him or not.

As for the show in general it's insightful.

I'd like to try to the Clorox bath, especially on fruits and veggies where you know they spray a lot of pesticides.

Good on ya for looking up the ratio - I was too lazy! FYI She mentions she uses this for meat and poultry too. (I don't THINK she said fish but maybe I've spaced on that). What did you think of the advice overall??
