what i learned today.
1. i really prefer to bike outside
2. ensure you read, comprehend, and internalize previous LMS articles (see The Bike Ride of Doom)
3. apply what you do at work (checking and analyzing weather,) and apply it to everyday life
4. warm weather in the winter, is ALWAYS followed by cold weather, see #3 and #2
5. when in doubt, take sunglasses with you, they prevent you going blind in freezing rain, and snow
6. the faster you pedal, the harder it is to see in snow, to solve this, see #5
7. snow hurts the face at 25km/h, let alone 40km/h (did i read #6?)
8. enjoy canadian winter riding, but re-read post.

So, this is what i look at when i go flying, but, its applicable to us land lubbers too. Heres what you need to knowp; the red half moon line way north of moncton is a warm front, meaning warm temperatures. now, the blue jagged triangles to the west of moncton is the cold front, meaning, colder temperatures. now, colder temps, mean, as it passes over your town, rain turns to freezing rain, to snow, and usually the wind picks up. this is the same chart i looked at before i left. dumb.

Oh. No. You didn’t. REALLY?!?
Then again. Fantastic extra bragging points: “Hey. It was sleeting and SNOWING and I went out for a 100 mile ride. Because I’m training for Ironman.”
You sure this is actually a weather map? Kinda looks like a kid using crayons. Also, the kid couldn’t even stay inside the lines. I think Moncton flight school is ripping you off man.
I wear a watch that has an Ironman on it.
