Worden-Rogers wins division at U.S. triathlon
Wentzell Lake’s Cliff Worden-Rogers finished first in his division at the Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island in Providence, RI, on Sunday.
The 24-year-old completed the event in 4:26:01 to win the men’s 18-24 division. He was 27th overall.
His result earned him a spot in the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Clearwater, Fla., on Nov. 8.
The races on the 70.3 series consist of a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run.
